Founder's Bio

Njeri Olatunji — also known as Mehab Men Neter — grew up in the Bronx, shaped by a community that taught him the value of knowledge and the power of seeing yourself in the stories you're told.
With over thirteen years in elementary and middle school education and a Master's Degree in Education from Howard University, Njeri has spent his career asking one question: what happens when children learn through the lens of people who look like them?

The answer became Level Genius Media.
What started as the Black Inventors Science Workbook series — an interactive resource pairing the biographies of Black inventors with the science principles behind their work — was just the beginning. Level Genius Media is being built as a full educational content and resource company with a bold scope: science, reading, and mathematics, all grounded in culturally rich, identity-affirming curriculum that meets children where they are and pushes them further than they imagined.

Njeri built Level Genius Media because he understood from the classroom that curriculum shapes identity. When children discover that people who look like them have been inventing, calculating, writing, and solving problems across centuries and continents, something shifts. They stop consuming knowledge. They start creating it.

That's the mission. That's the standard. That's Level Genius.
